Gary and Addie Tomei are suing Sean Lennon for $10million claiming in the six years since he purchased the home next to them in New York he has refused to cut down a tree in his yard.
I don’t think it’s absurd at all. I believe the tree has more value than their entry way and I don’t believe it should be cut down either. Stay strong on this one Sean!
I’m currently reading Derrick Jensen’s “The Myth of Human Supremacy” (book review when done) and could hear his voice in my head when I read this article.
The Tomei’s are exceptionally narrow minded to say the only value of the tree is for Sean Lennon to temporarily look at it. The tree is an ecosystem who is helping to scrum the air the Tomeis breathe all the while being a home to others.
I understand how foreign these idea may be to the Tomeis. I’m sure they think I’m a crack pot for thinking that way. None of that makes it any less truthful.
