Oil Terminal Projects Can’t Duck Washington Ocean Law, Court Says – Law360

Law360, New York (January 12, 2017, 5:44 PM EST) — Washington state’s top court on Thursday unanimously reversed a lower court’s conclusion that a proposed oil terminal expansion wasn’t subject to the state’s coastal protection law, saying the decision improperly restricts the law’s intended ability to protect against the environmental risks of oil and other fossil fuels.
