Demand Justice for Communities Arrested, Attacked, and Displaced for Agribusiness – Rainforest Action Network

Over 40 villagers are in custody after being brutally forced off their land at gunpoint, their homes burnt, at the demand of a plantation company producing coconut and palm oil in Tiberias Village, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.

This is nothing short of an outrage. Violent corporate land grabs like this should be a thing of the past — yet they continue to this very day. Corporations can no longer hide from accountability from these rampant human rights abuses.
We demand justice for the community of Tiberias Village! Add your name now and join RAN, local groups, and the community.
